I found this article on the Hometalk website. It discusses a variety of plants that are both invasive and difficult to remove. Some send roots underground. Others send runners above ground that take root and create new plants. There are 10 plants included in this article, many of which are beautiful. If you love any of these plants and want to include them in your garden, one option is to segregate them in their own flower beds and watch them carefully.
One example is Lily of the Valley. It has beautiful, fragrant flowers but can spread quickly. This is a flower that you want to isolate in a controlled bed.
